London Academy Of Music and Dramatic Art – LAMDA
The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) is the largest Speech and Drama awarding body in the United Kingdom. LAMDA Examinations are designed to equip students, whatever their age and aspirations, with a range of skills that will serve them through life. Through one to one tuition students are encouraged to:
- Unlock the imagination
- Develop memory and communication skills
- Build self-confidence and self –esteem
Students can enter for Graded Examinations in Speech: the speaking of verse and prose or graded examinations in Drama: Acting (solo/duologue). Some students prefer not to take examinations but simply use the sessions to help achieve other goals.
Lessons are taught by experienced actress and singer, Belinda Cryer, who has been coaching students for LAMDA Examinations in Speech and Drama for the past eight years, with some excellent results. Belinda also offers individual singing lessons.

Each week students enjoy:-

- An hour of dance using elements of modern, jazz and other styles
- An hour of drama covering a wide range of work and improvisation skills
